Man in the Mirror

As a starting point for this comic I referenced Michael Jackson's song Man In The Mirror. The story is a satirical portrait of Jackson's public image in the mid-nineties. I used pop culture magazines and urban myths to create the story and collect images to work from. Celebrities talk about their impression of the artist as does E.T., the Extra-terrestrial from Spielberg's movie. This is meant to be a comedic comic and not to insult Jackson so much as poke fun at his image. I feel there is a possible explanation in my comic as to why Jackson is so mixed up and I try to express my sympathy for the man who had a very difficult upbringing in the public eye.
